How to Make Slowed + Reverb and Nightcore Versions of a Song

What slowed + reverb and nightcore edits are, the usual speed and reverb settings, and how to make your own in the browser without an app.

Slowed + reverb edits turn upbeat songs into slow, echoing, dreamy versions. Nightcore goes the other way: faster and higher-pitched. Both are just a speed change plus, for slowed edits, reverb.

Make a slowed + reverb edit

  1. Open the slowed + reverb generator.
  2. Add your audio file (MP3, M4A, WAV, or even a video).
  3. Adjust the reverb and download the MP3.

The track is slowed to about 82% speed, which also lowers the pitch (that's the characteristic sound), and a long reverb is added.

Typical settings

StyleSpeedReverb
Slowed + reverb80-85%35-60%
Daycore75-85%none
Nightcore120-130%none
Sped up (TikTok style)110-125%none

For exact control, use Change audio speed and pick the speed and reverb yourself.

Cut it down

Social clips are usually 15-60 seconds. Trim the best part with the MP3 cutter and add a short fade out.

Editing a song for yourself is fine. Uploading edits of music you don't own can get videos muted or removed; check the platform's rules.
