About the File Converters
Every common image format is covered here, in both directions: HEIC from iPhones, WebP and AVIF from websites, PNG screenshots, JPG photos, TIFF scans, GIF, BMP, SVG and ICO, plus conversion to and from PDF. Pick a conversion below or use the matrix at the bottom of the page.
Conversions run in your browser using its own image decoders, so there's no upload and no waiting in a queue. You can convert many files at once and download them as a ZIP. Converted images don't carry over EXIF or GPS data from the originals.

Common questions
Which image format should I convert to?
JPG for photos you want to share or upload, PNG for screenshots and graphics with text or transparency, WebP for your own website, and PDF when a form asks for a document.
Is there a limit on the number or size of files?
No fixed limit. Very large images (over about 100 megapixels) may fail on phones with little memory.
Do conversions lose quality?
Converting to PNG, TIFF or BMP is lossless. Converting to JPG or WebP uses lossy compression; at the default quality setting the difference isn't visible in normal viewing.
